Urban Intervention Finalized

I have intervened the urban life with “Ride Me”.  The vinyl was put up on a yellow post that sits between cars near the Granville market on Granville Island.  It is clearly visible to both pedestrians and the drivers of the automobiles driving in to park.

Google Maps

Maps, with the new technology wave, have become sophisticated and 3D with Google Earth. We are now able to travel the world without having to worry about a 25kg luggage limit or the liquids in your carry-on; the only thing you have to worry about is if your internet connection is fast enough for you to fly from location to location using the Google Earth program. So, this project we have mad a map of our own. A trip for out fellow comrades to go on with a little help through the postings we have made on Google Maps.
I have created a trip of red and yellow. Communism has flowered from Europe to Vietnam to China to Cuba and now I bring you to the people and their birthplaces that started this controversial way of leading these countries.

Urban Intervention

We are about to intervene urban Granville island.  As we all know alternative modes of transportation are much more eco-friendly then automobiles are.  I am trying to promote riding bikes in a way that people will look.  The location that I have chosen to place the vinyl cut is on a short pillar where automobiles park.  Hopefully the drivers will give a second thought to the oxygen sucking tin can they’re driving.
